AMMAN (AA) - May 7, 2013 - Foreign Minister of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi said that his country was a strong ally of the Syrian regime.
Salehi, who is currently in Jordan, met with his Jordanian counterpart Nasir Cude on Tuesday.
"Iran is a strong ally of the Syrian regime. The Syrian opposition had to negotiate with the Syrian government to build an interim government. The crisis in Syria had to be solved in a peaceful way. We are against any solution from outside and foreigners' entering Syria," Salehi underlined.
