CAIRO
Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi will hold meetings with Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and UN & Arab League's Special Envoy on Syria Lakhdar Brahimi in Cairo on Wednesday.
Egyptian officials told AA on Monday that Salehi would begin his visit to Egypt on Wednesday, and hold meetings with Morsi and Brahimi the same day.
Salehi-Morsi meeting will focus on Iranian-Egyptian relations, problems in the region, and the activities of the quartet summit among Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Turkey which rejected a military intervention in Syria.
Meanwhile, Salehi-Brahimi meeting will focus on "Geneva-2" solution proposal for a peaceful transition process in Syria.
Salehi's visit will last for three days.
