GAZA
The number of Christians living in Gaza is dropping each day due to embargo imposed by Israel.
Church sources announced the number of Christians in Gaza as 3,500, and said that ten percent of Palestinian people had been Christians before 1948, and it was now only 3.1 percent.
Kamil Ilyad, an official from Berveros Church in Gaza, told AA that Christian families migrated to western countries due economic conditions which became worse after Israeli occupation in 1967.
51,000 of Christians in Palestine are living in West Bank, and 3,500 in Gaza.
