JERUSALEM
Palestinians resist all types of Israeli pressure and embargo by the "Bab-ul Kerame" tent village built in northern Jerusalem to protest the Israeli settlements.
Reeve of Beyt Iksa village of northern Jerusalem Kemal Habbabe stated that the tent village was a step taken to prevent Israel confiscating Palestinian land and building segregation wall.
Previosly, Palestinian protestors had set up 30 tents in "E1" zone in the east of Jerusalem in order to protest illegal Jewish settlements in 3,000 residences to be built by Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu ordered security forces for the removal of tents.
