Tunisian opposition figure Mohamed Brahmi was laid to eternal rest on Saturday in a Tunis cemetery with a military funeral ceremony.
Funeral ceremony was participated by large crowds including members of the constituent assembly and syndicates as well as several political party leaders.
Mohamed Brahmi, leader of Movement of the People Party was shot dead on Thursday outside his home in capital Tunis.
Interior Minister Lotfi Ben Jeddu has said Brahmi was shot dead with the same gun which previously killed opposition leader Chokri Belaid in February.
Meanwhile, a bomb attack targeted a vehicle in front of National Guard Forces Headquarters in port of Tunis, known as Halq al-Wadi region.
Tunisian Interior Ministry spokesperson Mohamed Ali al Urvi told reporters that it was a terrorist attack.
No casualties have been reported.
