Svitolina beaten by Argentina's Nadia Podoroska 6-2, 6-4 in quarterfinals

The world’s No. 3 seeded women’s tennis player, Elina Svitolina, was knocked out Tuesday from the 2020 French Open.
Svitolina was beaten by Nadia Podoroska of Argentina in straight sets in the quarterfinals, 6-2, 6-4.
Podoroska is the first qualifier ever to make the semifinals.
Meanwhile, it took three sets for American Danielle Collins to defeat Tunisian Ons Jabeur, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, to advance to the quarterfinals.
