Bahadir Saracgil, a member of Anadolu Agency’s executive board, met Wednesday with Qatari media executives in Doha, where he attended the 10th Al Jazeera Forum.

The forum, held by Qatar’s Al Jazeera television news network on March 21 and 22, was held under the banner, "Regional and International Struggle in the Middle East".

During his visit, Saracgil met with Qatari media representatives with whom he discussed coordination at the corporate level between Anadolu Agency and Qatari media organizations.

While in Doha, Saracgil also met with Ahmed Saad al-Buainain, director-general of the official Qatar News Agency (QNA), who he briefed about Anadolu Agency’s projects and operations.

Saracgil told al-Buainain that AA was keen on cooperating with QNA and exchanging know-how, while al-Buainain, for his part, expressed his appreciation for Anadolu Agency and its activities.

After visiting Al Jazeera’s headquarters, Saracgil also paid a visit to Al Jazeera’s Media Training and Development Center (MTDC), where he met with MTDC Director-General Munir Daymi.

Saracgil and Daymi discussed the potential for greater cooperation between Anadolu Agency’s News Academy and the MTDC.
