2 dead, 2 injured in fire at Greek refugee camp

ATHENS

At least two refugees were killed and two others seriously injured last Thursday in a fire at the Moria refugee camp on Lesbos island, according to state news agency AMNA.

The explosion, possibly by a gas tank, caused a large part of the camp to be engulfed in flames that resulted in death of a mother and her child, according to AMNA. Another refugee mother and a child suffered severe burns.

Authorities have not commented on the fire.
