Defending champions France have won on Sunday the Men's Handball World Championship 2017 for the sixth time, after defeating Norway.

The ‘Les Blues’ had a rough first half and ended up leading with only 1 point difference.

At the second half, the French squad, dubbed ‘Les Experts’, revolted and ended the second half, 33-26, against Norway.

The 2017 IHF World Men's Handball Championship - the 25th event hosted by the International Handball Federation - was held in France from 11 to 29 January 2017.

France were world champions in 1995, 2001, 2009, 2011 and 2015.
