Ahmet Turk, an independent MP from southeastern province of Mardin in Turkey, evaluated the process initiated to end terrorism, as one of the negotiators involved in the Imrali talks.
Stating that there were many countries not favoring the growth and strengthening of Turkey, Turk said, "When Turkey embraces Kurds in an equal and fair way as citizens, it will become the strongest country in the Middle East. However, there are powers who do not favor this."
