Erdogan:US embassy attack not related with Syria

ISTANBUL

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan ruled out possibility that Friday's deadly suicide bombing at the US Embassy in Turkey was linked to the situation in Syria.
"I don't reach to a conclusion that this incident is related with Syria," Erdogan told a televised interview on private Haberturk channel.
The suicide blast Friday at a checkpoint outside the embassy compound killed the bomber and a security guard as well as seriously wounding a Turkish woman.
Erdogan said DHKP-C, an outlawed leftist group in Turkey, was responsible for the attack.
The group recognized as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US and the European Union.
"We have [the bomber's] name and birth place. But as the premier it is always my principle to speak only after receiving the final result, but I can definitely say that it is DHKP-C," Erdogan said.
