Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that they let a Syrian passenger plane depart with its passengers from Ankara.

Davutoglu's comments came after the Syrian passenger plane was forced to land in Ankara earlier on Wednesday after suspicions that it was carrying equipment not suitable according to civil aviation rules and regulations.
Speaking to reporters in Athens, Davutoglu stressed that Turkish officials seized the equipment in the Syrian passenger plane in order to examine their type and for further procedures.
There are elements in the Syrian passenger plane that are out of the legitimate boundaries of a civilian flight, Davutoglu also said.

Turkish planes do not use Syrian air space

On the other hand, Director General of Turkey's Civil Aviation Department, Bilal Eksi said that Turkish planes did not use Syrian air space.
Speaking to the Anadolu Agency (AA), Eksi stated that the Syrian passenger plane, forced to land in Ankara's Esenboga International Airport, had 37 people on board including crew members.
Reminded about warnings to Turkish planes not to use Syrian air space, Eksi said that Turkish planes were not presently using Syrian air space.
