A Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli soldiers early Tuesday after allegedly attacking them with a knife in the occupied West Bank.
The soldiers had been in the Far'a refugee camp near the Jordan Valley to make an arrest, Israeli military spokesman Peter Lerner tweeted.
Khaled Mansour, a local leader in the camp for the left-wing Palestinian People's Party, identified the slain man as 32-year-old Mohamed al-Salihi.
