Saudi Arabia and Britain on Tuesday inked a military and security cooperation agreement, according to reports in Saudi state media.

"The agreement was signed by Saudi Crown Prince and Defense Minister Mohammed bin Salman and British Defense Minister Michael Fallon," the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The deal was reportedly signed at Bin Salman’s office in Jeddah following a meeting between the two during which they discussed bilateral ties, regional developments and the fight against terrorism.

The SPA provided no additional details regarding the agreement or its terms.
