Tunisian soldier killed in helicopter crash
2 injured soldiers, who are in critical condition, are under treatment at military hospital in Tunis, official says

- A Tunisian army helicopter on Wednesday crashed shortly after taking off from a military base in Tunisia, killing one soldier, the country’s Ministry of Defense said.
Capt. Bilhasan al-Veslati, a spokesman at the Ministry of Defense, told Anadolu Agency three soldiers were critically injured and rushed to a military hospital in the capital Tunis after the crash took place in the port city of Sousse.
One of the injured soldiers later succumbed to his wounds, Sami er-Refik, a doctor in the hospital told Anadolu Agency.
There was no immediate explanation for the cause of the crash.
