Turkish army 'destroys' 3 PKK positions in N. Iraq
2 PKK terrorists also killed in airstrikes carried out in SE Turkey

The Turkish army destroyed three PKK positions in airstrikes against the terrorist group in northern Iraq.
According to a statement issued by the Turkish General Staff, the warplanes carried out the airstrikes in the Avasin-Basyan and Hakurk regions between 1.11-3.34 p.m. (1011-1234GMT).
Ongoing Cukurca airstrikes
In addition, the army said two PKK terrorists were identified by a drone in Cukurca district of southeastern Hakkari province and killed in an airstrike.
Cukurca has been the scene of numerous airstrikes against the terrorist group since early September, which the army said "neutralized" 188 terrorists since then.
In the Semdinli district of the province, military operations killed 14 PKK terrorists, it added.
