ATHENS
Greece's unemployment rate decreased slightly in the third quarter of 2013, according to the Greek statistical authority.
Unemployment in Greece fell to 27 percent from last quarter's 27.1 percent, Greece Statistical Instutiton (ELSTAT) said as 31.3 percent of women and 23.8 percent of men were jobless in the country struggling to recover from the government-debt crisis. Youth unemployment rate stands at 57.2 percent.
The jobless rate has fallen for the second time in a row on a quarterly basis after the record high of 27.4 percent at the year's beginning.
Despite the drop, Greece has the highest unemployment rate in Eurozone.
