ANKARA
Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili will pay an official visit to Turkey by invitation of Turkish President Abdullah Gul on January 20 and 21.
Margvelashvili's visit to Turkey will be the 8th official visit at presidency level bewteen Turkey and Georgia in the last 7 years, said the press office of Turkish Presidency in a statement.
The statement also said: "Relations between Turkey and Georgia will be considered in detail and notes will be compared about regional and global developments which is on the two countries' agenda, during the first visit after Margvelashvili took office on October 27."
