14 killed, 18 injured in Baghdad bombings
Iraq has seen a spike in violence in recent months, with recurrent bombings and assassinations killing hundreds of people.

At least 14 people were killed and 48 injured in a series of bombings that rocked Iraqi capital Baghdad on Wednesday, a police source said.
A car bomb in the Kadhimiya district in northern Baghdad left four people dead and ten others injured, the source said.
A similar blast occurred in the eastern Al-Sadr neighborhood, killing five and wounding 11, he added.
A bomb blast in the Al-Maamel district, meanwhile, killed one and injured 12, he said.
In the north of the capital, another bombing claimed two lives and injured seven, while a twin blast in the Al-Saadoun area in central Baghdad killed two and injured eight, the source added.
