At least 80 Daesh militants were killed in airstrikes conducted by Iraqi air forces on Saturday, a south Kirkuk Peshmerga commander said.
Vasta Rasul told Anadolu Agency that the militants were killed in two separates attacks.
Thirty-five militants were killed in Bashir district, 25 kilometers south of Kirkuk.
Meanwhile, 45 Daesh militants, including one reported Daesh commander, were killed in Riyadh district and Rusuliyah town, both in the southeastern part of the city, which is populated by a Sunni Arab majority.
