Syrian opposition forces took hold of the Taftanaz military airport in northern Idlib province.
Free Syrian Army (FSA) sources told AA correspondent that Syrian Islamic Front and al-Nusra Front fighting under the umbrella of FSA took control of the airport after 10 days of clashes. FSA seized armories and several vehicles at the airport.
Same sources said clashes had been continuing around the airport and many fighters from the both side lost their lives, many soldiers escaped from the airport.
Taftanaz is the largest military airport in the region.
