Turkish President Erdogan receives Qatari emir

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani in Ankara on Thursday.
The talks between Erdogan and the Qatari emir lasted about two hours after the welcoming ceremony.
Their talks touched on the energy sector and bilateral economic relations between the two countries, according to presidential sources.
The sources also said the two leaders discussed issues such as Syria, Iraq and Palestine.
The president's meeting with the Qatari emir was closed to the press.
