Football: Fenerbahce to face Atromitos in UEL playoffs

ANKARA 

Turkish football club Fenerbahce will take on the Greek club Atromitos in the UEFA Europa League playoff stage.

The draws for Europa League playoffs were made in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday.

Atromitos manager Michalis Gregoriou told the club’s website: "Fenerbahce is a big club with great potential. It spent a lot of money to bring in Turkey players like Van Persie and Nani. It will be a great experience for all of us. Nonetheless, football is always unpredictable".

The first leg matches will kick off on August 20 and the second legs will be played on August 27.
