Olympiakos has advanced to Turkish Airlines Euroleague final after beating CSKA Moscow 82-78 in the first match of Final Four on Friday evening at Istanbul Sinan Erdem Dome.
Despite being down for most of the match, the Greek powerhouse managed to make a comeback in the third quarter and managed to go up 79-76 with 40 seconds to go in the fourth quarter.
Veteran shooting guard Vassilis Spanoulis, Georgios Printezis and Kostas Papanikolau each scored 14 points in the victory.
This is Olympiakos' second final in three years, as the team was defeated by Real Madrid in the 2015 Euroleague final.
Fenerbahce will play against Real Madrid in the second match of the Final Four at 9.30 p.m. local time (1830GMT) on Friday.
