Turkish president's military aide arrested
Lt. Col. Erkan Kivrak was taken into custody in southern Turkey over Friday’s failed coup attempt

ANTALYA, Turkey
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's main military aide was taken into custody for alleged ties to Friday’s failed coup attempt in the southern province of Antalya, according to a local source.
The local official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Lt. Col. Erkan Kivrak, the president's air force advisor, was taken into custody in a hotel in the Serik district of Antalya.
Kivrak is expected to be brought to Ankara to face trial there, said the official.
