5 would-be suicide bombers held in southern Turkey
Suspects were held without any loss of life or property, according to regional governor's office

HATAY, Turkey
Five suspected would-be suicide bombers have been arrested in southern Hatay province, according to regional governor’s office on Saturday.
In a statement, Hatay Governor’s Office said among the suspects were two Turkish and three Syrian nationals who were allegedly sent to Turkey from Syria to carry out suicide attacks; they were apprehended near the Syrian border during an operation conducted jointly by Turkish intelligence service’s Hatay department and police.
The statement added the suspects were held without any loss of life or property.
A wide-scale investigation has been launched into the incident, the statement added.
