Seven suspected Daesh terrorists, including two foreign nationals were captured during two separate operations in Turkey's southeastern Gaziantep province Wednesday, the provincial governor’s office said in a statement Thursday.
According to the statement, Turkish armed forces nabbed five Daesh suspects while they tried to cross the Turkish-Syrian border.
A court later released the suspects pending trial, the statement added.
The statement also said that two foreign Daesh suspects were also captured in another operation in Oguzeli district near the Syrian border.
The foreigners were later sent to the provincial security directorate for deportation procedures, the statement said.
