ANKARA
Six PKK terrorists were killed by Turkish security forces in the country’s southeast on Monday, the military said in a statement.
The Turkish General Staff said the terrorists were killed in Nusaybin, a town on the Syrian border in Mardin province, and 10 explosive devices seized.
The armed forces said 206 terrorists had been killed in the town since a counter-terrorism operation was launched on March 14.
The PKK - listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and EU - resumed its 30-year armed campaign against the Turkish state in July, since when more than 350 security force members have been martyred and thousands of PKK terrorists killed.
