Explosion causes slight injuries, police say

ISTANBUL
Three people were injured by a stun grenade in Istanbul on Saturday night, police said.
The incident happened near an overpass on Mecidiyekoy Yolu Road, which runs alongside the D100 highway through the city’s Sisli district.
The victims have been taken to hospital for treatment to slight injuries.
The road was sealed off but later reopened.
Stun grenades are non-lethal explosive devices used to temporarily disorient with a blinding flash of light and an intense bang.
