Turkey sends flour shipment to Palestine
Turkish Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) sends flour to people in Palestine from a harbor in southern Turkish province of Mersin

ANKARA
Turkey has sent an initial shipment of flour to Palestine, the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) said Monday.
The 1.2 ton delivery, which left Mersin province on Sunday for the Israeli port of Ashdod, is the first of 15,000 tons of flour to be sent over the coming four months, the agency said.
A total of 13 shipments will be made up to March 20. AFAD coordinates disaster management in Turkey and abroad.
