SIRNAK, Turkey
Seven members of the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) have surrendered to the Turkish security forces in the southeastern Turkish province of Sirnak, the Sirnak governorate said in a statement Saturday.
According to the statement, a total of 747 members of the group surrendered to Turkish authorities between March 21, 2013 and June 13, 2015.
Turkey as well as the U.S. and the European Union list the PKK as a terrorist group.
