Mohamed Abrini, one of the main suspects in last November’s Paris terrorism attacks, was arrested on Friday, according to Belgian media reports.

Abrini might also be the "man in the hat" who ran away after last month’s explosions in the Brussels airport, Belgian broadcaster VRT reported.

The attacks in Paris killed 130 people, while those in the airport and a metro station in the Belgian capital left 32 dead and hundreds of others wounded.

Daesh claimed responsibility for both.

The arrest of Abrini in Brussels’ Anderlecht district came a month after another key suspect in the Paris attacks, Salah Abdeslam, was caught last month during a police raid in Brussels.

Abdeslam is now to be extradited to France.

According to VRT reports, Friday's arrests also included Osama K., who was involved in the attacks at the Maelbeek metro station in Brussels.

The Belgian federal prosecutor confirmed that there have been several other arrests in connection with the Brussels attacks, but gave no further details.
