Barrel bomb attacks kill 60 in Aleppo

60 people, including women and children, were killed during barrel bomb attacks by the Syrian air force in Aleppo on Saturday. 

"Military helicopters severely attacked civilian areas by dropping barrel bombs over Aleppo," said Ahmed Mohammed Ali, media manager of Local Coordination Committees of Syria (LCC). 

He added that, due to bad weather conditions, the attacks of regime forces came to a halt. 

Many buildings and roads were destroyed while many people were killed and wounded in the attacks.
