"A total of 13 militants were killed in the airstrike and many military vehicles were destroyed," said al-Juburi.

In addition, local sources said that Abu Abdullah al-Arabi, a senior Daesh commander in Saladin's Beiji district, was killed by Iraqi troops in Abu Jarad region of Beiji district.

Meanwhile, an Iraqi army commander in Anbar said security forces killed seven militants in a clash that erupted following a suicide attack in Anbar’s al-Karma district.

In a separate incident, Khalef said eight militants were killed and their vehicles were destroyed near Fallujah district in Anbar.
